Passover, Matzo, and Cosplaying

Oh hai... I'm back. In case you didn't notice, and I'd be worried if you didn't since you're reading this...
I have been a very busy person since my last post, mostly because of school work (I'm on Spring Break right now.) That is my excuse for not posting, and I'm sticking to it. Oh, and by the way, Happy Passover. Yep, you've got it. I'm half Jewish and I celebrate Passover, 'cause I'm awesome like that.
Speaking of Passover, my father and I were sitting at the kitchen table a few nights back eating chocolate (because that's what we do in our spare time.) At any rate, we were examining the back of the Matzo box (Matzo is bread without yeast. If you're wondering why on earth we have bread without yeast in our house, look up Passover on Wikipedia.) Accutally, it was more we were making fun of it, but it made it too easy. The side of the box said, "Yehuda Matzo was the top brand amongst 8 brands of Matzo taste tested by the San Fransisco Chronicle. 'Crunchy with a good snap', said one of the panelists in the above survey." I kid you not. I pity the poor people who had to taste 8 different types of Matzo. Also, a little farther down was the ingredients list. "Ingredients: Wheat flour and water." Under that it said, "Contains Wheat products." Welcome to America... [sigh] Oh, and just in case you were wondering, the taste of Matzo is comparable to cardboard (although I will admit that it grows on you.)
Also, on the subject of Jewish tradition, my cousin is having his Bar Mitzvah next month.

Bar Mitzvah [noun] A coming of age ceremony for a Jewish boy. Conducted at age 13.

At any rate, this is kinda a big deal, so I went out shopping today for a new dress to wear (since I have no dresses because I HATE wearing dresses.) I thought, "Oh, I'll get something pretty and colorful since I usually get black. I'll break this whole monochromatic thing I've got going on." After about four hours of searching, I leave the store with a black dress. I can't seem to escape it... But it's all good. I like black.

I went to a con this weekend! I went with Jen and Regina, and because of said con, the word "trap" has now become part of our daily vocabulary. Regina was cosplaying Maka from Soul Eater (I had no warning, so I just wore a trench coat. Don't know what the realtion is...) At any rate, I have also made a decision concerning Con-going. Next time I go, I'm cosplaying L (from Death Note.) So many people cosplay him, but very few are acctually decent Ls. I mean they've got down the clothes and everything, but it's really the manerisms that make the L. You've got to have the whole slouch thing down, the L sit, etc. I can pull him off better than most of the guys that were cosplaying him, and I'm a girl. There's something wrong with that... Yeah, I'm and Otaku. Shut up and move on with your life.

At any rate, I think I shall bring this post to a close. Thank you for reading my random... stuff.
