YAY CON! -Spaz Dance-

It has been 61 days since my last post. I really should concentrate on this thing more often. -sigh-
Ok, so what have I been up to?

So, the first thing that jumps to mind is the fact that I went to Con. Saboten-con, to be exact. And this made me extraordinarily happy. It was more fun that Con-Nichiwa (although I'm really looking forward to that in March) simply because it was so much bigger. I didn't cosplay (not enough time or money.), but I got the chance to hang out with some pretty awesome people (Ashley and her friends, Leann and her friends. <3) I came away from that Con with what I was intending to: an attendance to a panel on Bleach and a Ichimaru Gin plushie (it's pretty much my favorite thing ever right now.) Have I mentioned that he's my official favorite character in Bleach? I'm sooo glad he's actually the good guy. Except that then he died... Opps, sorry. Did I just spoil it? (It's kinda a given that he dies, though...) Next Con, I'm aming for either a Sesshomaru or Allen Walker plushie (or a Crona plushie, if those even exist.) And Crona brings me to my next topic.

Ok, yes. I didn't cosplay at Con, but some of my besties threw a Soul Eater cosplay party. I wasn't given much warning though... This is how it went:
Regina: Hey, you want to come to our Soul Eater cosplay party?
Me: Yeah.
Regina: Awesome! You should be Crona.
(Planning, etc.)
Me: -hangs up, stares at the phone- Ooook... now I have a week to get together a cosplay...
It didn't turn out half bad, actually. I'm going to perfect it by Con-Nichwa, and I'll have a Ragnarok. CAN'T WAIT!
Well, that's enough anime fangirling for now.

The other thing that's made me really happy recently is the fact that I finally got to see Avatar (the one with the blue people.) It was really good. And the blue people made me really happy. Especially their tails. I like tails.

My last note for this post relates to the fact that I'm letting Ashley borrow my tablet. (This is making her really excited and it makes me smile. :D) However, I feel like I'm going to forget to bring it on Monday. I have this urge to write "TABLET" in huge letter in sharpie up my arm. I feel like a scenario like this is going to happen:

Me: -takes off jacket-
One of my friends at church: Why do you have "TABLET" written on your arm?
Me: So I don't forget it. (Obviously)
Them: Ok then.

Well, then good night.

(Well, one last burning question to leave you with: Is Crona a guy or a girl? :D)

How Much Can I Write in 10 Minutes?

I have 10 minutes before I have to go to bed. Let's see how much I can catch you up on.

School is continuing on as normal. The only thing that is worth noting at them moment (besides the lab report which is slowly sucking my life and an incident on the bus today, which I shall elaborate on shortly) is my English class. We have a new teacher this year. His name is Mr. Appleman, and he is really amazing. He honestly looks like a freshman in college, and he likes creative writing (which means that I'll have fun this year. I hate essays.) There's also my class itself to take into account. Mr. Appleman showed us a video about man that made quilts with designs from maps. He gives us a video, and we end up discussing lying, insurance fraud, and murder (all relating to this quilt.)

Now, for the bus incident.
My friend's little brother: I'm going to make a coloring book.
Me: That's nice.
Little Brother: Yes, and then I'm going to sell it and make lots of money and then I'll be rich. And my brother is going to be a hobo and he'll live in a garbage can outside my house.
Brother's friend: That's harsh.
I dunno, maybe it's just me, but it made my day.

I have rediscovered the Clone Wars. I got the first season back when it first came out, and I'm finally on disc 3 out of 4. We've started watching it over dinner, and it makes my day.

Finally, I have one last thing to relate. While I have been typing, my father has been teaching me how to work under a deadline in distracting conditions. He has been singing about blogs, talking to me about blogs, and telling me that my computer just randomly died, was resurrected, and then turned off. (I should probably worry about that...) Thank you, sir, for teaching me a valuable lesson. This is the blog post that relates to this entire thing.

And with that, I end this post. It isn't very long, but it was typed in 9 and a half minutes. Good Night.

On the Subtleties of Cats and Other Subjects

I find it rather amazing that when I finally have the time to sit down and write a post for this, everything that I've done for the past 2 weeks just sort of fly out the window. But I'll see what I can extract from the recesses of my brain.

Well, for starters, I went on not one, but 2 retreats. One with my school, one with my church. Both were loads of fun and a few of the highlights are as follows:

- Watching people star tip without stars (and not joining in.)
- Being called a ninja by my English teacher during a game of Underground Railroad.
- A rather insane bus ride back, during which my Honors English period (7th) raced the other Honors English period (1st) to use every one of our 20 vocab words in a senetance. We won. :D
- Being creeped on by Michael. (Acutally, that's not really much of a highlight. That's more of a low light... or a scaring experience.)
- Star watching.
- FOOD! I love UCYC food.
- Having a conversation about Artemis Fowl with Michael of all people.
- General insanity.

Michael and his gilly suit. The thing should be banned, just on general principles.

Hmm... Now what else happened...

I bought a volume of D. Grayman. And it made me happy. And I'm not going to go on a fangirl rant about Allen Walker. No, no I'm not.

I also went to the first home game for my school. We got pounded. Literally pounded. It was horrible. The ending score? If you really want to know, it was 35-3. Considering how obsessed with sports my school is, we didn't do too great.

At any rate, I will leave you with one last story before I leave you to your lives. Today when I left my house I saw one of my neighbors walking her cat. Now I belevie that it just kind of stupid to try to walk a cat. Cats are not walked. Cats walk you. And if you get this mixed up in any way, then you will be treated to a look of, "Just who do you think you are?" At any rate, this cat would walk forward a couple of feet in normal cat like fashion, then she would reach the end of her lead. She the proceeded to turn around, and reguraded her owner with this look of, "What is this strange creature that is somehow attached to me?" It made me smile.

Well, I supposed I'll write something else soon.

Acutally, one last side note: Have you noticed how many lists I have been making on this thing? I think it's from my perpetual writer's block... :-\
